UVIFY COO Robert Cheek to Discuss Physical AI and the Future of Warfare at VDS 2026
Amzeal News/10644687
Technology executive and Dronecode Foundation board director to join international defense leaders in Valencia, exploring how artificial intelligence, robotics, and next-generation autonomy are reshaping modern warfare.
VALENCIA, Spain - Amzeal -- UVIFY announced that Chief Operating Officer and Board Member Robert Cheek will speak at VDS 2026, taking place October 21–22 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain.
Cheek will join the October 21 panel, "The Human-Machine Battlefield: How AI, Autonomy, and Robotics Are Defining Modern Warfare," examining how Physical AI, autonomous systems, and robotics are transforming military capabilities and the future of defense.
"The future of warfare will not be determined by who develops the most impressive technology demonstration, but by who can turn innovation into reliable, scalable operational capability," said Cheek. "Physical AI, autonomous robotics, and digital twins are opening extraordinary possibilities. The challenge is translating that potential into systems that perform reliably in the real world."

Cheek's career spans emerging technology commercialization, robotics, and strategic investment. Today, at UVIFY, Cheek focuses on transforming advanced technologies into scalable products, strategic partnerships, and sustainable businesses.
UVIFY's technologies include coordinated drone swarms, autonomous flight systems, and xEye, its Physical AI perception platform, combining real-time spatial awareness, autonomous navigation, and digital twin capabilities.
Cheek also serves as a Platinum Director on the Board of Directors of the Dronecode Foundation, part of the Linux Foundation, supporting open-source innovation and interoperability across the autonomous systems ecosystem.
International Defense Engagement
Beyond VDS, Cheek has been invited to attend The Front Line Assembly, an exclusive October 20 gathering connecting defense innovators, military experts, Ukrainian frontline representatives, investors, and policymakers from Spain, Finland, Ukraine, and the Netherlands.
