Wonders of Our Universe – National Science Theatre Show Arrives at Southend Palace Theatre

SOUTHEND, U.K. - Amzeal -- Southend-on-Sea, Essex – A spectacular science theatre experience is heading to the Palace Theatre this summer. The nationally touring show Wonders of Our Universe arrives in Southend for one night only on Friday 29 August at 7.00pm, promising an unforgettable journey through space, time, and everything in between.

Created and presented by astrophysicist and Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society Ian Hall, the show brings together live storytelling, stunning visuals, and a cinematic original score performed live on stage.

"We're not just telling the story of the Universe—we're showing people where they belong in it," says Hall.

Audiences can expect a fully immersive experience exploring the Big Bang, star formation, black holes, and the future of humanity—told in a way that is both scientifically rigorous and emotionally resonant.

While the recommended age is 11+, many younger children have attended and thoroughly enjoyed the show, particularly those fascinated by space and science. The performance has been described as "Carl Sagan meets IMAX, live on stage."
