VSA Celebrates 20-Year Partnership with Software Provider Tayrex

The Tayrex Corporation has played a key role in VSA's steady growth over the past two decades, developing a customized calling platform that's still in use today and contributing to several new lines of business.
HADDONFIELD, N.J. - Amzeal -- In VSA's nascent days as a lead generation and appointment-setting firm in the early 2000s, the company relied on Excel spreadsheets and pen and paper to track call results and share reports with clients. Obviously, if VSA were to grow in the ways Founder Valerie Schlitt envisioned, that couldn't last.
Seeking a software partner to develop an automated calling system that fit VSA's specific needs, Ms. Schlitt met Tayrex Corporation co-founder Eric Tayar through a South Jersey-based networking group. Tayrex, which, like VSA, was still a relatively new company, offered to build VSA a customized platform for an extremely reasonable monthly rate.
"They said, 'We'll give you an offer you can't refuse'," Ms. Schlitt recalls. "They took a gamble that we would grow with them, and we did. We were only limited by our knowledge of the industry at the time. As we grew more sophisticated, we could ask them to build more things for us."
Twenty years later, VSA and Tayrex—both based in Camden County, New Jersey—remain loyal partners. While VSA has implemented additional calling platforms over the years, the firm continues to utilize Tayrex for multiple client programs—although the Tayrex system in place today bears only a passing resemblance to the one the company initially built.

"They share the same flexibility/customization mindset that we do," Ms. Schlitt says. "When we started out together, it was a very simple platform, and together we just continued to add new features that benefited VSA and our clients, such as email capabilities, reporting modules, call-recording capabilities, voice analytics, and API functionality."
Tayrex has been instrumental in helping VSA expand into several new lines of business over the past few years: contact tracing for COVID-19 and incident reporting. Collaborating closely with VSA, the company built a groundbreaking new HIPAA-compliant software in 2022 that offers a wide range of functions, including secure messaging, customized reporting and alerts, interactive map data visualization, daily health screenings and surveys, and much more.
"The platform definitely surpassed my expectations," says Dawn Stolte, VSA's Senior VP of Operations. "We knew it would be a game-changer in expanding the opportunities for VSA to help clients in new and exciting ways, but it's allowed us to do so much more than I thought it would."
For VSA, knowing that Tayrex is only a phone call or email away has provided plenty of peace of mind over the past two decades. The company is responsive, accommodating, and always open to developing new technologies that match VSA's vision.
