The Q iLASIK & Med Spa Grand Opening Raises Money for The Imagine Children's Health Center

NAPLES, Fla. - Amzeal -- The Q iLASIK & Med Spa held its public grand opening March 27 to benefit The Imagine Children's Health Center.  The charity received 100 percent of the raffle ticket sales and a portion of the afternoon's sales to help in its mission to provide psychological counseling and treatment for school-aged children.

The amount of money raised has not yet been calculated.

"As a new neighbor, the physicians and staff of The Q iLASIK & Med Spa are pleased to help children in need.  The Imagine Children's Health Center does a great job of treating emotional trauma in children so we have selected this non-profit as our official charity of The Q," said Dr. Stephen Prendiville, facial plastic surgeon and medical director of The Q iLASIK & Med Spa.

Emotional trauma symptoms are seen in children who suffer from Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, stress, low self-esteem, self-destructive behaviors, sleep disorders, grief and traumatic events, according to Imagine Children's Health Center Director Dr. Molly Barrow.

"We are very grateful to Quigley Eye Specialists and The Q iLASIK and Med Spa for selecting our charity to benefit from the grand opening.  It is only through the generosity of our donors that we are able to help children in need," she said.

Attendees at the grand opening enjoyed free food and beverages as well as a variety of free services, including vision screenings, facial plastic surgery consultations with Dr. Stephen Prendiville, iLASIK screenings, chair massages, and med spa consultations in addition to tours of the luxurious 2,000 square foot med spa.

More than $10,000 in merchandise and services was raffled for items such as Jimmy Choo sunglasses, IPL treatments for face and hands, facials and the new Virtue RF Micro-Needling that stimulates the production of collagen to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Quigley Eye Specialists opened The Q iLASIK & Med Spa as the first-of-its-kind medical spa to offer advanced aesthetic services, the area's first dry eye spa and the new iLASIK procedure all under one roof.
