PORTLAND, Ore. - Amzeal -- Ruby®, the premier provider of live virtual receptionist and chat services for small businesses, has been recognized by Oregon's business community and the Portland Business Journal, being selected as the state's second Most Admired Company in the Technology and Technology Manufacturing category for the third time in four years.

Winners from the Portland Business Journal event were selected based on an extensive survey of more than 5,000 CEOs from across Oregon and Southwest Washington who were asked to pick the companies they most admire in a number of different industries. Other technology sector leaders Airbnb, AWS Elemental, Google, Jama Software, and Zapproved were also recognized in the same category with Intel taking the top position.

The company, founded in 2003, employs more than 600 people, two-thirds of which are virtual receptionists or live chat specialists. In September 2019, Ruby founder Jill Nelson retired and Winkler, a five-time C-Suite executive with extensive knowledge in customer experience, software and telecommunications, took over day-to-day leadership of the company as well as a seat on the Board of Directors.
