Robling Launches Retail Data Model Native Application in Snowflake Marketplace

Robling Retail Data Model eliminates retail data silos and speeds implementation for joint customers
ATLANTA - Amzeal -- Robling announced today that it is launching Robling Retail Data Model, an application that will provide retailers with an enterprise retail data model natively in the Snowflake Data Cloud. The Robling Retail Data Model is built using Snowflake's Native Application Framework, currently in private preview, which enables application developers to build applications using Snowflake core functionalities, globally distribute them on Snowflake Marketplace, and deploy them within a customer's Snowflake account.
Robling and Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, are solving the thorny issue of retail data silos caused by disparate operational systems and analytical point solutions. Snowflake's Data Cloud will mobilize the world's retail data and enable joint customers to become an agile, modern, data-driven retail enterprise and outcompete others in the marketplace. Further, Robling and Snowflake jointly deliver on organizations' full data lifecycles from ETL, to data model, to accurate, granular analysis-ready data. The Robling Retail Data Model supports multiple analytic perspectives for merchandising/category management, marketing, store ops, and supply chain, among others.

"Rapidly changing shifts in consumer behavior, along with supply chain disruptions, have exposed major issues with regards to the retail industry's siloed approaches to data collection, analytics, and data-driven decision making," said Robling's co-founder and CEO Jeff Buck. "Fortunately, retailers can now eliminate the nightmare of having to incorporate disparate and discombobulated data sets. The Robling Retail Data Model will be an incredible asset to the multitude of players in the BI, analytics, and data warehousing industry by giving these companies a common data model for retail analytics."
"The Robling Retail Data Model built using the Snowflake Native Application Framework will further enable retailers to access, govern, and share data seamlessly with the Snowflake Data Cloud," said Rosemary Hua, Global Head of Retail and CPG for Snowflake. "As Snowflake continues to make strides to mobilize retail data, collaborators like Robling provide a standard retail data model that the industry can use to easily migrate their data onto Snowflake. Having their data in one place gives retailers & CPGs the ability to deliver more personalized customer experiences and make data-driven merchandising decisions."
