Recapito Launches CallPlan, an AI Receptionist Built for Small Businesses

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Amzeal -- Recapito today announced the availability of CallPlan, an AI-powered receptionist and phone answering service designed to help small businesses provide professional, consistent customer service without requiring every incoming call to be handled by an employee.

Unlike a generic answering system, CallPlan can be configured with information about the individual business, including its services, hours, staff, policies and other information customers commonly request.

The system is designed to complement existing employees rather than replace the personal service businesses provide. Routine calls can be handled automatically while calls requiring an employee can be transferred with the appropriate context.

CallPlan also supports capabilities such as appointment handling, after-hours call coverage, call transcripts and reporting, allowing businesses to maintain visibility into customer conversations handled by the service.
