Pikmykid Announces Cutting Edge School Emergency Reunification Tool
Amzeal News/10505710
The leading school safety and dismissal platform adds new technology to enable seamless unplanned dismissals for schools.
TAMPA, Fla. - Amzeal -- Pikmykid, the leader in school safety and dismissal, announces its newest tool leveraging the same user-interface for daily dismissal to enable schools to conduct quick and safe emergency reunification.
"Since 2014, we've empowered schools across the United States to safely and efficiently reunite students with their families during daily dismissal. By adding cutting-edge technology to the same platform, schools can now confidently reunify families during an emergency and provide parents with peace of mind that their kids are safe," shared Pat Bhava, CEO of Pikmykid.
This new emergency reunification tool digitally replicates the Standard Reunification Method (SRM), as recommended by the 'I Love You Guys Foundation'; enables school admins to message staff and parents; empowers parents to update emergency contacts with accompanying photos; displays reunification progress; and creates summary reports.

When logged into the Pikmykid school portal, staff can start emergency reunification with the push of a button. In doing so, it will send a customizable message to school staff and an option to message parents, as well.
Once in reunification mode, staff have three check-in points to manage: accounting for students, checking in and authenticating emergency contacts, and documenting successful reunifications. Using several powerful features, staff can now use realtime student information during these check-in points to know which students were on campus at the time of the incident.
Additionally, school and district staff can monitor the progress of reunification from their respective dashboards in real time.
Bhava reinforced, "Reunification is a vital part of students' safety at school. By leveraging a comprehensive safety solution like Pikmykid, school leaders can rest assured they are practicing school safety daily."
Just like Pikmykid's daily dismissal and silent panic alert tools, no additional hardware is required. And schools and parents can expect the same world-class onboarding and year-round support.
