Modern Emergency ID Card (MEIDC) Launches on iTunes App Store

MEIDC's Accompanying Mobile App Is Available For Download, Bridging The Gap Between First Responders and Patient

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Oct. 7, 2016 - Amzeal -- MEIDC, the Modern Emergency ID card known as "the supplement to save your life," is now live, available for download in the iTunes app store. MEIDC is a supplement to your state issued ID, allowing first responders to obtain the vital information needed to provide the best care at the scene of an accident. As a result, medical personnel have the opportunity to improve patient care before you reach the hospital.

"We're excited that the MEIDC app is finally hitting the app store for users to download," said Shelly Castellano, founder of MEIDC. "Now, once you purchase a physical MEIDC, you can keep your medical information up to date while on the go. Anything that comes up can immediately be populated into the app."

During a state of emergency, the patient may be in a state of shock or unable to communicate for themselves. MEIDC gives first responders fast and free access to the information necessary to filling out their mandatory ePCR document, an electronic paperwork report required before transporting the patient. As a result, the process is sped up allowing the patient to receive improved care quickly and efficiently.

By helping to bridge the communication gap between first responders and patients, on the scene care becomes increasingly efficient. Considering the electronic health care record keeping that has been delegated to first responders, MEIDC looks to streamline the process, bringing technology and people closer together.
