LCR-Reader-MPA Multimeter Announced as Prize Winner for Product of the Year by Plant Engineering

WATERLOO, Ontario - Amzeal -- The do-it-all multimeter from Siborg Systems Inc., the LCR-Reader-MPA, has been declared one of the winners of Plant Engineering's Product of the Year. Subscribers of the magazine had until February to vote for products, with winners announced on February 10th, 2021.

LCR-Reader-MPA is one of three winners of the Maintenance Tools and Equipment category, which include other nominees from Des-Case Corp, Exair and two from Fluke Corp. The official first, second and third place winners will be announced on Plant Engineering in April. Plant Engineering is a source of news and products for production and maintenance.

LCR-Reader-MPA is a handheld multimeter with an array of test features and functions, including the ability to identify and test components with just a touch. The Bluetooth enabled MPA model allows users to connect to PC and Android and set custom component profiles. For custom profiles, users set desired values for components, and upon testing other components, the program will compare the desired values against the measured values. The program will mark the measured values green for pass or red for fail. All measurement values are exportable to spreadsheets.

Another model Siborg is releasing in early summer is the LCR-Reader-R2, the only LCR-Tweezer-meter that offers a 300 kHz test frequency, allowing for better testing of small inductances and capacitances.
