Home Helpers of San Mateo Receives 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Amzeal -- When Peggy Milne and Mitch Williams opened Home Helpers Home Care in San Mateo, they were just looking for a business they could launch and run together as empty nesters. Now, as they celebrate 10 years of positively impacting families by providing clients with quality care, they have been recognized with Home Helpers Home Care's Lifetime Achievement Award. There are hundreds of Home Helpers Home Care franchisees across the country, but only five locations have ever been honored with this award, claiming San Mateo owners a place in the Home Helpers Hall of Fame.

Milne and Williams launched Home Helpers Home Care in San Mateo back in 2012. Both had careers in information technology and, as their children started to grow up and move out, the two realized they wanted to do something together as empty nesters. Milne started the business and ran it by herself for almost a year until Williams joined her in the day-to-day operations.

"When we started, we had no idea how challenging this business would be, but we quickly learned the importance of hiring great team members who shared our commitment to hard work and dedication.
