ECHO set to host Family Fun Farm Tours this summer
Amzeal News/10566361
N FT MYERS, Fla. - Amzeal -- The exciting and educational ECHO Family Fun Farm Tours are back for another year. The experiential walking tours will take place on Saturday, June 22 and Saturday, July 20 at the Regional Impact Center in North Fort Myers.
Tours will be led by certified docents who specialize in sharing ECHO's mission with children ages eight and up. Families will participate in activities to learn how natural resources are shared and what amount of the earth's surface is usable for food production.
While on the tour, docents will take a hands-on approach, giving families the opportunity to feed goats, eat plants, climb a mountain, interact with chickens, pick leaves, search for lizards and more.
Special discussion questions will help guests contextualize world poverty and food security in ways children will understand.
ECHO is a leading nonprofit global agriculture development organization known for its commitment to equipping and empowering hungry families with knowledge and the life-giving grace of God. The Regional Impact Center is at 17391 Durrance Road in North Fort Myers.
