Biden's Farewell Fails Workers: Broken Promises, Billionaires First, and Americans Left Behind
Amzeal News/10586851
Amzeal -- Joe Biden's farewell address was all talk and no action. Dean South, Treasurer of the Wisconsin People's Party, criticized the speech as a final chapter in an administration that left working families behind.
Jobs: Misleading Numbers
Biden claimed credit for creating 17 million jobs. According to South, most of those jobs were simply recoveries from pandemic shutdowns. "This wasn't growth," South stated. "It was just getting back to where we were. Meanwhile, billionaires got richer, and working families paid the price."
Big Tech: Protected and Empowered
Biden spoke of holding Big Tech accountable, but South pointed out the administration's failures. "Social media platforms were pressured to censor content to protect the administration's image," he said. "At the same time, Big Tech grew more powerful while workers were ignored. And when it came to AI, Biden's administration offered no real plans—just empty words."
Abandoning Americans in Crisis
South also highlighted Biden's failure to support Americans impacted by Hurricane Helene. "The people of Asheville and North Carolina were left to fend for themselves while billions were sent overseas to Ukraine and Israel," South remarked. "This administration prioritized corporate lobbyists over its own citizens."

Broken Promises on Democracy
South noted Biden's rhetoric about democracy didn't match his actions. "He didn't push for Supreme Court reform or a congressional stock trading ban when his party had the chance," South said. "Words don't count—actions do."
Workers: Left Behind
Despite Biden's claims of supporting workers, South argued his track record told a different story. "He sided with rail companies over workers, let real wages fall behind inflation, and ignored gig workers' calls for basic protections," South explained.
The Truth
South made it clear: "Biden's farewell speech won't fix the harm done to working people. It's time for leaders who put workers first—not corporations or billionaires."
Wisconsin People's Party is a populist party that takes no corporate money.
