ASI Releases 10th Annual Membership Performance Benchmark Report

The 2025 iMIS survey was conducted in late 2024 and more than 200 membership professionals from the United States, Canada, EMEIA, and the Asia-Pacific region shared their insights. This year's report looks at emerging trends in membership acquisitions/renewals/engagement, possible causes for attrition and ways to win back lapsed members, expected tech stack investments, and priorities for the coming year broken down by generation.

Key findings from the report include:

• 65% plan AMS/CRM investments in 2025
• 52% believe Events/Meetings are the best way to attract new members
• 43% increased member engagement and retention last year
• 25% are extremely confident about future growth
• Top Goal:  Increasing engagement
• Top Challenge:  Multiple databases and data silos
