Apria Healthcare Data Breach: Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims

OKLAHOMA CITY - Amzeal -- Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach involving Apria Healthcare LLC ("Apria Healthcare"). On September 1, 2021, Apria Healthcare received notice of unusual activity on its internal network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, Apria Healthcare confirmed that unauthorized cybercriminals gained access to its computer system between at least April 5, 2019 to May 7, 2019, and again from August 27, 2021 to October 10, 2021. Apria Healthcare further confirmed that the accessed systems contained the electronically stored personal information of at least 1,869,598 individuals. The personal information exposed to cybercriminals in the data breach, includes:

• Personal information
• Social Security numbers
• Medical information
• Health insurance information
• Financial information
