AKCP, the world's oldest and largest supplier of networked wired and wireless sensor solutions have improved their compatibility with third party cloud platforms, with MQTTS integration to Microsoft Azure
HAMBURG, Germany - Amzeal -- Azure is a cloud computing platform from Microsoft. It offers a wide variety of services which can be deployed to run and manage applications on their cloud service. Azure is one of the main competitors for Amazon Web Services, which offers similar services. These include
AKCP sensors are used by large corporations worldwide to monitor their critical infrastructure. From data centers, to remote sites, telecom towers, warehouses and cold chain. A recent project conducted with Lufthansa Technik required AKCP cellular sensorProbe2+ sensors be integrated to the Microsoft Azure platform.

The AKCP SP2+ with cellular modem and external antenna is compatible with all AKCP sensors and delivers data to the cloud via cellular radio. As part of the sensorProbe+ product family it runs the same software as the SP1+, SP2+LCD, SPX+ and sensorProbeWTS. Integration to Microsoft Azure was accomplished through MQTTS communication from the AKCP device to the cloud platform.
AKCP engineers worked closely with the team at Lufthansa Technik to complete the necessary software development required. At no charge, AKCP implemented new software functions and technical support to make the project a success.
